Our neighbors who are in places where the land generates the same fruit trees, and vegetables, where terrestrial, aquatic and flying animals feed on the same plants and the same lakes that in turn are generated by the same rains and storms, the political frontier that divides them, they share it, and it changes with respect to the needs of those who live there. Several communities opened their arms to us, because of our interest in knowing the contemporary border zone, exactly in the village of Pampow and surroundings. We lived and worked with them to discover their memories of change, their perspectives, their thoughts, which gave rise to a greater knowledge of their past and their present.

We have managed to convince local residents to participate in our activity and to establish relationships and contacts that deepen cooperation between the communities. One year ago, we lived and worked with the residents of Pampov to promote the "Places and Borders" event, which took place in the village of Stolec. We work in artistic workshops with the residents of the village Pampow, Blankensee and Stolcec, in addition we had individual meetings with them to collect memories, stories and materials about the German-Polish border.

The trust placed by our neighbors in our first contact was what prompted us to continue exploring the individual stories to create a dialogue between them, in the project “OVER Places and borders”. This year it was our impulse to organize another meeting in which the citizens from both sides of the border had the opportunity to meet, dance and exchange just as they had in Stolec,  this time in Pampow, Germany.

Thanks to all for making a meeting full of smiles and memories possible to inspire us to celebrate more parties in the years to come. Left, Over, Under, Right or On the Border.

To create a dialogue between the German and the Polish borderite, not only did we enter their lakes and valleys, we also had to enter into their hearts.
